Re-defining charity from pity to paychecks
$150 billion is spent annually on global aid, yet poverty still remains.
All that money. And still no relief. Something's not working. We believe the traditional relief model is the problem - increasing people's dependency on charity rather than freeing them from it.
Hoopo (formerly known as PRICE) is a social enterprise that transforms impoverished communities through the power of work. Our unique investment model creates jobs that break the reliance on handouts, while delivering a return to our supporters as well. We put your kindness where it counts.

How we got here
2016 · The pilot
In 2016, we partnered with a number of NGOs, for-profit organizations and academic institutions to pilot our unique self-sustaining employment model.
2018 to 2022 · Two model villages
From 2018 to 2022, we selected and successfully proved our models in two rural villages in Pakistan with remarkable results.
Now · Scaling
Now, we are scaling our model across the globe, bringing the transformative power of work to thousands of people who deserve it.

So whats up with the name Hoopo?
Meet Hoopo, our brand mascot. They embody our hope, drive and ambition as a business. Alive with optimism and vitality, Hoopo represents the future we’re working towards where those in need are freed from poverty.
