How the program works

Hoopo Carbon Neutral Village (CNV) Ambassador Program

The Hoopo Carbon Neutral Village (CNV) Ambassador Program engages university students and climate advocates in spreading carbon awareness and promoting sustainable practices. As a CNV Ambassador you will:

  • Educate communities on carbon footprints and climate responsibility.
  • Encourage businesses and individuals to calculate and offset their carbon emissions.
  • Promote sustainable practices through Hoopo's climate solutions.
  • Support the development of Carbon Neutral Villages, which combine afforestation, biogas projects and renewable energy.

As an official CNV Ambassador, you play a part in building a network of climate-conscious people who actively reduce carbon emissions.

  1. Create an account on the Hoopo portal.
  2. Fill out the registration form "I am Carbon Neutral. Are you?" and write "Interested to become CNV Ambassador" in the remarks. Use the same email as your portal account.
  3. Join the training sessions. Selected candidates are trained by Hoopo on spreading carbon awareness, running outreach and mobilising people for climate action.
  4. Promote Hoopo's carbon awareness initiatives through social media, university campaigns and community programs.
  5. Earn recognition and rewards: CNV Ambassadors are certified and earn Carbon Awareness Tokens (CATs) for their work.
  • Experience in environmental advocacy and climate action.
  • Carbon Awareness Tokens (CATs), redeemable for local currency.
  • An official CNV Ambassador certificate and a mention in Hoopo's sustainability reports.
  • Connections with climate experts, sustainability organisations and businesses investing in sustainable solutions.
  • A direct contribution to Carbon Neutral Village projects: clean energy, afforestation and sustainable agriculture.

Carbon Awareness Tokens are digital reward points issued by Hoopo to encourage climate action and carbon literacy. Individuals and businesses earn CATs by:

  • Calculating and offsetting a carbon footprint through the Hoopo portal.
  • Watching and engaging with Hoopo's climate awareness videos.
  • Taking part in environmental quizzes and challenges.
  • Referring others to Hoopo's carbon-neutral initiatives.

Each CAT represents a contribution to raising awareness about carbon footprint reduction. The more awareness you create, the more CATs you earn.

Invite people to measure their footprint. For every Bronze Carbon Neutral Certificate issued through the portal from your referral, you earn 100 CATs (terms apply).

Quiz and win. Watch the climate awareness videos on Hoopo's YouTube channel, subscribe, comment or ask a question under the video, then take the quiz linked in that video's description (start here). Use the same email as your portal account so the tokens reach you.

Join initiatives. Tree plantation campaigns, Carbon Neutral Village seminars and workshops, and promoting sustainable living.

Refer businesses. For every business that measures and offsets its footprint through Hoopo and gets certified, you earn additional CATs.

  • Convert CATs into local currency or financial incentives under Hoopo's reward structure.
  • Pay university fees or hostel mess dues.
  • Encash through your bank or digital wallets such as Easypaisa (terms and conditions apply).
  • Unlock higher certification levels, from Bronze to Silver to Gold.
  • Win sustainability merchandise for high-performing participants.
